Questions about deliveries

What is a track code?

Track code (postal identifier, tracking number) - a unique code that allows you to monitor the movement of the postal item in the country / world.
According to the regulations of the Universal Postal Union, the track number (identifier of the mailing) consists of 2 Latin letters, 9 digits and 2 Latin letters indicating the country of the sender (example: LM123456789CN).
The first letter serves as an indicator of the type of departure.
The second letter is used to indicate the type of dispatch, for example: air, sea, railway or as a regular letter.
The last two letters indicate the country of origin.

Shipment type designation options:
“C” - ordinary parcel (more than 2 kg), tracking before delivery
“R” - small package (less than 2 kg), tracking until delivery
“L” - small packet (less than 2 kg), tracking prior to delivery, not wanted by the mail of the recipient country
"E" - express shipment (EMS), the second letter is ordinal, tracking before delivery
